Disney's The Little Mermaid
In a magical kingdom beneath the sea, the beautiful young mermaid, Ariel, longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above. Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's most beloved stories and the classic animated film, Disney's The Little Mermaid is a hauntingly beautiful love story for the ages. With music by eight-time Academy Award winner, Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater and a compelling book by Doug Wright, this fishy fable will capture your heart with its irresistible songs, including "Under the Sea," "Kiss the Girl" and "Part of Your World."

Bright Star
Back by popular demand! Bright Star tells a sweeping tale of love and redemption set against the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina in the 1920s and ’40s. When successful literary editor Alice Murphy meets an ambitious young soldier just home from World War II, their connection inspires Alice to confront her past. Together they discover a stunning secret with the power to transform their lives. Bright Star is as refreshingly genuine as it is daringly hopeful.

Seven Brides for Seven Brothers
In this quintessentially and unmistakably American take on the war between the sexes, seven empowered frontier women take charge of their destinies (and their men) in 1850s Oregon. Based on the classic film, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers is an authentic piece of Americana, a time-tested romantic comedy with a special, contemporary relevance. Bringing the raucous Oregon frontier from the screen to the stage, it is a crowd-pleasing hit that has audiences cheering from the opening scene to the curtain call. Saddle up for a joyride in this tale of stubborn men and cunning women.

Because each child is so different, we don’t offer recommendations on which show your family should see. We highly encourage you to research our season to make the best choice for your family.
Here are some of the content considerations for our 2025 season:
Disney’s The Little Mermaid: This magical tale is based on the classic Disney film, with added music for the stage version. The plot points are very similar, with some scenes featuring the sea witch, Ursula, that may frighten young children. Ariel and Prince Eric fall in love, kiss, and are married. If your family is comfortable with the movie, the stage version should be similar.
Seven Brides for Seven Brothers: This Playmill favorite features humorous scenes of women being kidnapped by men, then later falling in love, kissing, and getting married. Discussions of courtship are discussed, with one man casually asking about petting in a song. Men dream about the women they love that they cannot be with in a humorous song with lines such as “I see Dorcas lying there in a silky gown” and “Ruth will sigh and beg for more when we begin to pet”. Brief language includes a couple uses of the word da** and he**. The stage version follows the classic movie musical closely, with added songs.
Bright Star: Back by popular demand! This sweeping tale features mild language (a few uses of da** and bastard) and incidental drinking and smoking during a fun musical number that takes place at a bar. The plot turns on a baby that is conceived of wedlock, but no sexual activity is depicted outside of kissing. This baby is forcibly removed from its mother, and in a later scene a suitcase is thrown off a train, presumably with the baby inside.

All ages are welcome! If you’re coming with a little one that may need some extra love and attention during the performance, we recommend you try to get an aisle seat with easy lobby access. We have a TV there that broadcasts the performance so you won’t miss a beat.
-
Absolutely!
Both ends of Row 1 and 2 in our center section (Section B) are reserved just for you. These seats are easily accessible and close to the stage so you can see and hear clearly.
Please note that the only seats which do not require stairs are those in Section B, Row 1. If you use a wheelchair and will not be transferring for the performance, you will need to select the seats on either end of this row, as they are removable. All other rows in the theatre require at least one step up.
If you have any concerns or questions regarding accessibility, do not hesitate to give us a call!

The ticketing fee is the same regardless of the method you use to purchase your tickets. We wish we didn’t have to charge the fee because we don’t see a penny of it - it goes straight to our ticketing agent.
