Our 2024 Summer Season

  • Anastasia

    Anastasia

This dazzling show inspired by the 1997 animated film transports its audience from the twilight of the Russian Empire to the euphoria of Paris in the 1920s, as a brave young woman sets out to discover the mystery of her past. Pursued by a ruthless Soviet officer determined to silence her, Anya enlists the aid of a dashing con man and a lovable ex-aristocrat. Together, they embark on an epic adventure to help her find home, love and family.

  • Bye Bye Birdie

    Bye Bye Birdie

A hilarious family musical about 1960s small-town America, teenagers, and rock & roll, Bye Bye Birdie remains as fresh and vibrant as ever. Teen heartthrob Conrad Birdie (an Elvis-type) has been drafted, so he chooses All-American girl Kim MacAfee for a very public farewell kiss. Featuring a tuneful high-energy score and a comedic script, Birdie continues to thrill audiences around the world.

  • Oklahoma!

    Oklahoma!

A classic, Western musical! Rodgers & Hammerstein’s first collaboration tells a story of a Western territory just after the turn of the 20th century. A high-spirited rivalry between local farmers and cowboys provides a colorful background for Curly, a charming cowboy, and Laurey, a feisty farm girl, to play out their love story. Their romantic journey, as bumpy as a surrey ride down a country road, contrasts with the comic exploits of brazen Ado Annie and hapless Will Parker in a musical adventure embracing hope, determination, and the promise of a new land.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Because each child is so different, we don’t offer recommendations on which show your family should see. We highly encourage you to research our season to make the best choice for your family.

Here are some of the content considerations for our 2024 season:

Anastasia: This beautiful story goes more deeply into historical themes of the Russian Revolution than the movie it was based on. Discussions of communism, loss, and death/dying occur throughout the show. In the climax of the musical, the antagonist points a gun at another character as he is making a decision whether or not to shoot. There is brief mention of an affair during a funny love song between two characters. Two other characters fall in love and kiss. A couple instances of mild language are included in the script ( da**, he**) Please note that the supernatural elements of the film (including the character Rasputin) have been omitted from the stage musical.

Bye Bye Birdie: This hilarious musical briefly depicts smoking/drinking. Topics of dating and growing up are discussed frequently. Teen girls obsess over a teen heartthrob, including trying to reach for him/grab him while he is singing. Two characters have a relationship throughout the show and kiss. One character is subject to bigoted comments about her age and race by other characters in the show (she comes out on top in the end)! A couple instances of mild language are included in the script (he**, thank G**).

Oklahoma!: This classic musical explores multiple relationships, with several onstage kisses and romances. Discussions of death, weapons, and violence, including a dream-sequence depiction of a funeral and an on-stage death by gun (gunshots are included) could be scary for young children. A discussion is held in the antagonist's home about his possession of questionable photos which are not shown to the audience. A few instances of mild language are included in the script (he**, G**, da**).

If you have tickets you are hoping to sell, you can also call our box office at 10 AM the day of the show. While we cannot guarantee we will be able to re-sell your tickets for you, we will do our best to connect those looking for seats to the tickets you are trying to resell.

Seating and Preshow
